FREDERICK ART CLUB

One of the oldest art clubs in the nation

The Frederick Art Club was founded in Frederick, Maryland, in August 1897. Initially a small league of women art students, it has evolved into a Frederick institution that now has more than 100 members. Our long-standing mission is to teach and practice art, enlighten members, and generate an appreciation of the value and beauty of art in the broader community. We also make time to network, nurture friendships, and simply enjoy each other's company.

Find out about our programs and activities, our  public art project featuring a bronze likeness of iconic designer Claire McCardell,  and our exciting Art Impact Campaign to build a $125,000 art scholarship fund in honor of the club's 125th anniversary.

And, of course, learn how to join us.
