On July 20, 2020, the Frederick Art Club lost a beloved member who faithfully supported and steered our organization for many years. Barbara Maghan was a loyal champion of the arts, not only through our club but also with the Delaplaine Arts Center and Easels in Frederick and as an art educator in public schools. Barbara served as our club's treasurer, shepherding our funds with care and guiding us to use them thoughtfully. Barbara could always be found just inside the meeting room entrance, greeting each new arrival with a warm smile and a twinkle in her eye. She will be missed.
